A T-shirt design circulating in blogs and e-mails has a fairly apt message: “I didn’t know what I did before the Internet.” The same is said about a lot of shopping taking place today – people are hitting the streets less, and punching in search engine queries more. They are able to find great bargains and choice finds online faster than ever, and even more telling, some people keep coming back to trusted sites as their “go-to guys” on an online run. People build communities around online shopping, with forums discussing new trends to social networks spreading the word and pushing people to new ideas.

In a nutshell, that’s what today’s post is about: We’re sharing with you some favorite places found online, perfect for the online shopper on a budget. Here are three fun websites one can visit to get started in looking for bargains online.

So, grab your trusty card and troop off to some new online territory.

DailyDeals.net

One of the most interesting concepts for online budget shopping was presented by DailyDeals.net. The page is powered by the Chicago Liquidators, and present products sold at rock-bottom prices. Useful, quirky, and endlessly intriguing are some of the words that were used to describe the website, and it has since been picking up steam.

What sets the site apart is how every day is a new deal to be made. The site displays a new featured product at a rate lower than any other place online or in life. They sell all manner of items, from electric fondue maker to exercise equipment and even strange items like alarm clocks that fly. The products here can make for some interesting gifts for friends, regardless of the occasion. Shoppers also routinely return to the website, because there really is something different everyday.

Smarter.com

Smarter.com is not an online store in the strictest sense. Their job isn’t to sell – it’s to help shoppers compare.

Like the name suggests, it’s time to pick your purchases smarter. Smarter.com has been providing some useful ideas for sharper shopping, by comparing deals posted online. Their work helps buyers because the company is able to research on items put up for sale. In this, shoppers are able to pick between bargains that are as good as, better than, and simply not as good as others.

From consumer electronics to automotive goods, bags, fragrances, books and a whole lot more, the site provides the online buyer with a plethora of good picks to save money with. The shopper on a budget can quickly look through their wares, compare, and pick and choose good deals.

Alice.com

Finally, one of the most common ’spending sinks’ people spend on come in the form of things needed in the house. These can be soap for the bathroom, oil for the kitchen or even toilet paper. Alice.com helps people find great deals for these home essentials and more. They also feature a coupon system for even more savings. On top of that, all shipping comes in free.

The Internet is full of great ideas for bargains. One merely has to take a good look.

I love shopping communities primarily because people are so helpful and friendly. Everyone’s just willing to learn and share their experiences about products and purchasing. It beats going into the grocery store or the mall alone, and wondering if the product you just picked up will work for you or not.

I’m so glad you shared these sites with us. All of them are very clean, easy to navigate, and have solid communities/forums with real shoppers who know how to make our online shopping experience better. I think they’re great recommendations! Thanks.

Bargains and sales plus the benefit of a hassle-free online shopping sounds like a great combination. What sets online shopping apart from the conventional way of shopping is the fact that you’ll be able to easily spot those goods on sale. Aside from the loads of information on the internet, you’ll also get the chance to read the feedback/reviews of different people thus giving you the idea if particular item will work or won’t work for you.

I like the links posted because they don’t just provide an easy access to a wide variety of affordable goods but they also have comparisons and descriptions readily available. Great blog!

Shopping communities are really a great help for those people, like myself, who loves shopping online and who wants to get a small review of the products being sold. It makes the consumer informed about what it is to like about the specific product and learn more about upcoming products.
