Not only that you're not being able to save money, you're also affecting your health primarily because too much nicotine is bad for the body and there's a high risk of having cancer due to excessive smoking or by simply smoking. Imagine you're buying a pack of cigarettes, the money you used can be used for other things like extra money to pay for bills or for food. Other than that, the money can be used for paying for transportation or groceries. Hence, there are other options in using your money other than buying cigarettes. And I've been like this ever since I started working mid-August of last year. I have a car but I only use it during the weekends because I work really far and the price of gas nowadays is really high. Also, parking is expensive too. That is why I commute going to work. I mean I'm hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. I can exercise (while walking or running - when I'm in a hurry) and I can save a lot buy not buying for gas or paying for parking.
